Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to prepare children for school and beyond. Through engaging, play-based activities, we nurture every aspect of your child’s development — physical, emotional, and cognitive — while encouraging their natural curiosity and love for learning.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for children aged 0 to 3, ensuring that each child receives the right support at every stage of their early education journey.

Parents receive daily updates through the Kinderly app, keeping you closely connected to your child’s experiences and progress. At Bumblebee, we value strong partnerships with parents, believing that collaboration is key to helping children thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Ofsted Rating

We are proud to share that Bumblebee Childminding has been rated “Good” in all areas by Ofsted.
The inspection highlighted what makes our setting a warm and trusted place for families: children thrive in an environment filled with care, encouragement, and high expectations for their learning and development.

Ofsted recognised our strong focus on communication and language, as well as the enriching opportunities we offer to support children’s physical development. Safeguarding was noted as effective, and our partnerships with parents were praised as a key strength—something we value deeply.

One area for continuous improvement identified was enhancing our questioning techniques to help children extend their ideas and thinking even further. We welcome this feedback as part of our commitment to always growing and providing the very best early years experience.

A “Good” rating reflects not only our standards, but the love, dedication, and intentional learning environment we create every day for your little ones.
